This webinar will explore strategies to build an effective behavioral health program in the fire service. Attendees will learn from Eric and AJ on the development of their behavioral health program, 42 C.A.R.E.S; and will hear a discussion on why the program was inspired, how it was created, and how it operates, through the sharing of personal and professional experiences. All aspects of their program will be explored including EAP (Employment Assistance Program), counseling sessions, peer support, crisis intervention, referrals to other behavioral services and utilization rates. This webinar is intended for fire service members and mental health clinicians who are interested in working with this population. Attendees will take home tools to utilize for the development of their own behavioral health program.
