Additionally, the session will shed light on the significance of the letters behind therapists’ names and explain the distinctions between various mental health professions. Furthermore, common therapeutic approaches will be discussed, highlighting their effectiveness in promoting mental wellness for first responders. Carlye is a Licensed Professional Mental Health Service Provider and Certified EMDR practitioner. She serves on the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Task Force and their First Responder Task Force. She is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management/Debriefing. As the Founder/President of the Tennessee First Responders Foundation, Carlye is dedicated to promoting mental wellness among first responders and advocating for better resources and support for those who serve our communities.

Myrrhanda Jones is an outreach director for the IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery that opened in March 2017. Myrrhanda represents the Center of Excellence and travels across the country, educating members on the services that the treatment facility provides.
